I have happily recommended Madtes Construction to anyone seeking a contractor for an addition, renovation, or new construction. He far exceeded my expectations, in service, invaluable advice and input, and in quality of workmanship. The finished product is a large one story addition, suitable for the care and comfort of a near-helpless stroke patient.

He thought of many design changes and features, that I never would have considered, which accommodated our specific needs. He took care of all permits, and brought in subcontractors who were skilled and took pride in their work. The finished home, with knotty pine paneling, cathedral ceiling, great kitchen cabinets, and unique touches is a showplace that draws wows from visitors, and is a delight and comfort to live in. He took personal pains to select the knotty pine, and finished the panels himself, with the help of his sons. His wife cleaned and dusted out the kitchen cabinets, saving me time and effort, so the only thing left to do was for me to unpack boxes and fill drawers and shelves.

Mike's treatment of us was that of a thoughtful, honorable good friend, although we had never known him, or his family before.
